BBC1 (2002) - Thalidomide Life at 40

This BBC1 documentary featured Jannette Cooke, who sadly died shortly after making the film. Jannette was the first deputy chair of thalidomide UK and was one of the original campaigners. Jannette went into hospital for a routine operation and sadly died because of complications and the lack of knowledge to the doctors that were treated her at the time, due to her disability thalidomide. RIP Janette Cooke.
