Wooden Fox - making a traditional marionette
How I got that scar on my hand? Making a hand-carved fox puppet from gardening scraps. This is Splinters - His ears are felt, his body parts are scrap wood painted with oil paints, his joints are old fence wire and potato sack and his whiskers are made from tangled fishing line. He's totally re-cycled! I hoped to build a puppet for travelling with, he is not the one but this project taught me respect for the traditional craft. Thank you to my parents for putting up with this and providing tools and space for me. This was my lockdown project, what was yours?
