The original Tom and Jerry theme song was composed by Scott Bradley, and used as the opening theme for over 100 short films in the 1940s and 1950s, seven of which won an Academy Award for "Best Animated Short Film"! It remains one of the most recognizable cartoon theme songs ever written.
