Chemical free insect pest control | Entotherm Heat Treatment by Rentokil
Entotherm is an innovative, chemical-free insect control solution. It's a mobile system which delivers 'dry heat' to any contained area, removing insect infestations in a single, quick and efficient treatment.
All lifecycle stages of insects from eggs and larvae to adults are killed with Entotherm. Even insects in wall cavities and creavices are eradicated. It is suitable for treating a wide range of environments including hotels, guest houses, transportation, hospitals, care homes and food processing facilities.
The mobile system heats up a liquid syrup and delivers it through insulated pipes to heat exchangers in the treated zone. The heat exchangers convert heat into hot dry air and the infested area or object is heated to 56 degrees centigrade. All life stages of insects from eggs and larvae to adults will die after an hour at 56 degrees, due to the denaturing of proteins within the insects body and disruption of the waxy layers on the outside of the insect, causing dehydration.
Electric heat probes are placed strategically to monitor and record the 'core' temperature and ensure even heat distribution. A computer generated graph is also produced as proof of heat exposure for an adequate period of time. The cost of the treatment depends on how much heat has to be applied and for how long.
What does Entotherm mean for your business:
It protects your business reputation, as pest problems are solved quickly and effectively.
The solution involves minimal business disruption, as it only requires a single, quick and efficient treatment.
It saves money, treated areas can be reused directly afterwards and furnishings do not have to be destroyed.
Heat treatment is versatile, with the option to treat multiple areas at the same time.
