Chaos Inside the Home – Wouter de Swardt & Thugs Force Entry During Illegal Eviction (22 July)

This footage, filmed by the Booking.com guests from inside the home, captures the unlawful chaos unleashed by Wouter de Swardt and a group of thugs acting on behalf of Keith Broad. Despite having no court order, de Swardt forced entry into the fully paid and legally occupied property, accompanied by eight men who stormed the premises, began handling the guests’ personal belongings, and attempted to throw their items onto the street.

The guests — frightened and confused — filmed from inside as the invaders moved through the home, raising their voices, making threats, and physically interfering with their stay. Police arrived on scene but failed to intervene to stop the illegal eviction, instead passively observing as the violation of the law continued.

The High Court later ruled this eviction unlawful. This footage forms part of the spoliation evidence submitted to legal counsel.
