A billionaire builds a colony on the moon. Sends up his robots. Extracts his resources. Replaces the workers. Replaces the children. Optimizes everything until the only people left are the ones his AI decides are inefficient — which turns out to be everyone.
Then he leaves.
And someone else has to fight through the mess he made.
That's Pragmata. That's Hugh. An exhausted man in a spacesuit running a gauntlet of rogue Tesla bots in a feral lunar greenhouse, trying to reach a trapped child the system decided was a failed experiment. His only backup is Diana — another "failed" experiment who keeps saving his life anyway.
Eight is in there somewhere. We just have to survive long enough to find her.
