1966-67 Television Season 50th Anniversary: Gilligan's Island (Denver, Wells, Johnson 5/4/92)

Our look back at the 1966-67 television season and our tribute to the ending of the CBS broadcast network run of Gilligan's Island takes us to this final Gilligan clip today (part 2 tomorrow).

This video clip is from a 1992 interview with Bob Denver, Dawn Wells and Russell Johnson when they appeared on the Faith Daniels talk show on May 4, 1992.

They talk about the show, how they were cast, and the inevitable highs and lows of becoming accidental television legends on a television show that has become iconic.

Note that Bob Denver's two daughters are in the audience... at position 7:08 and 8:17 in this video.
