Chanthaburi, Thailand Travel Guide - ROCKET ICE CREAM, Riverside Hotel, Coffee, and Walking Tour!

Chanthaburi is a charming city full of history, in the Eastern part of Thailand.

From Bangkok, we drove to Chanthaburi, and it was about a 3 hour drive. One of the charms of the city is the old riverfront community.

Tamajun Hotel - https://www.agoda.com/partners/partnersearch.aspx?pcs=1&cid=1452029&hl=en&hid=869492 (this is an affiliate link) - I chose to stay here because it's a classic guest house, affordable and located right on the river front. Rooms are a little small and dark, but you can't beat the location and classic feel. Overall, a good stay.

C.A.P - Also located in old town Chathaburi, C.A.P. is one of the best places to drink coffee. It's a hang out spot and the coffee in wonderful.

Rocket Ice Cream (ไอศกรีมตราจรวด จันทบุรี) - This is a historic ice cream shop you can't leave Chanthaburi without trying. Micah enjoyed it!

Cathedral of Immaculate Conception - This is the main cathedral of old town Chanthaburi. It's especially nice to visit in the evening.

This is just a short walking tour of Chanthaburi. It's a nice place to visit in Thailand for a few days. And there are also many other things to do in the province.
