Welcome to my Loc Retwist Day!

So, a typical retwist day takes me about 1hr:30mins to 2 hrs but sometimes longer when I'm distracted (At least 3 😢😂). (At the time of this recording, I was 6 months loc’d)

At the beginning of my journey, I used to comb my roots on every single loc but I noticed it made my retwist time WAY TOO long. After doing some research on YouTube, I figured combing your roots wasn't necessary (but to each his/her own). And I haven't had any major problems with my current routine as of now.

You may also have noticed from the video that I do not palm roll. What I do, is grab both ends of my locs and twist them simultaneously. When my roots are done, I twist the end of loc until all the new growth is in the locs (Please, see my video if you're confused... sorry)

I want my locs to do whatever they please, hence I try to avoid shaping them or forcing into any specific shape. Expect when I wrap the loose hair around them. Again another personal choice I’ve made for my journey. There's nothing wrong with palm rolling. Maybe one day I'll give it a try.
I happened to have a couple flat locs due to sleeping on locs, that weren't completely dry. That's the only down side but I don't mind lol
