RHEO KNEE® 3 - Maretha's Story

Trans-femoral amputee Maretha Coetzee - a farmer from the remote area of Stampriet in Namibia - lost her leg 17 years ago in a car accident while she was pregnant with her first born son.

Coetzee’s right leg was amputated above the knee as a result of the injuries and since the accident she’s been struggling to find a suitable solution to regain her mobility and to restore her quality of life.
In this inspirational video we see how the Rheo Knee 3 changed her life and enabled her to continue her physical work as a farmer within a very remote and challenging environment. We also witness what a big impact caring for animals had on Maretha's rehabilitation process.
