Sermon on tithing that shocked everyone!

There is a tithing debate on, "should Christians tithe to the church or not." Some say tithing is not Scriptural because tithing in the New Testament is not commanded. Some adopt tithing in the Old Testament command from Malachi 3 and suggest that Christians should tithe to the church. Some even teach how giving money to the church in faith controls God i.e. "How to get God to bless you - If you want to receive a blessing from God then give "X" amount of money to this ministry and watch God bless you financially."

So, what is tithing?

What does God want me to give?
What kind of/how do you receive a blessing from God?
