Here it is the last ever Christmas Ceefax, sob. Watch, enjoy, listen to some great music and remember that for tens of millions of people this service provided what they wanted to know in a nutshell. It wasn't flashy and had everything from news and current affairs to reviews and games.

There is still a need for a national service like this. A need that isn't being provided by the BBC Red Button service, a retrograde step.
