He’s Just a Baby… and Already Entangled

He’s just a baby seal, barely starting his life - yet already fighting for it. Entangled in what looked like a harmless piece of torn plastic bag, he was completely helpless.
While it’s easy for us humans to tear off a piece of plastic and throw it away, it becomes a deadly trap for marine life. With no hands and no way out, these creatures suffer in silence. Often, the outcome is fatal.
Thanks to the OCN rescuers' quick intervention, this pup got a second chance. But he is only one of countless others out there.
We cannot stress this enough: our throwaway attitude toward plastic has to change. What we discard so easily can - and does - cost lives in the ocean.
