Doctor Zhivago and Darling Win Writing Awards: 1966 Oscars

Robert Bolt wins the Oscar for Writing (Screenplay -- based on material from another medium) for Doctor Zhivago, accepted by David Lean, and Frederic Raphael wins the Oscar for Writing (Story and Screenplay -- written directly for the screen) for Darling, accepted by Connie Stevens, at the 38th Academy Awards. Joanne Woodward and George Peppard present the awards.
