128, 256, 2048 Render Distance in Minecraft (FarPlaneTwo Mod)

FarPlaneTwo is a Forge mod for Minecraft 1.12.2 made by DaPorkchop / PorkStudios. Other versions WILL be supported in the future, as stated on the mods github. In this video I also use CubicChunks and OptiFine.

Increasing the LOD level cutoff distance hurt my games performance a ton, but made the LODs much less distinguishable from the actual blocks, with the exception of chunks that haven't been fully generated yet (I think?). The lower detail dirt/sand textures in the distance are an example of that.

I had tried using CCPregen to pre-generated the chunks within an area of 4096x704x4096 (128 render distance) (command: /ccpregen -2048 64 -2048 2048 768 2048), and let it generate for 2 days to completion but the extra detail didn't show up in the LODs.

EDIT: I don't know how I didn't realize, but I think setting Allow low resolution to false under FarPlaneTwos Performance options would fix the issue of detail not showing up after using /ccpregen. I might remake this video due to this, though I might wait for compatibility with shaders or Terra 1-1 first.

I also tried to use the Terra 1:1 mod as well, however it would quickly ate up all of my RAM and then no longer loaded any further chunks until some of the active chunks were unloaded.
I arbitrarily labeled 512 LOD level cutoff distance as "higher detail LOD", and 256 LOD cutoff distance as "standard LOD" in the video.

Render distance is determined with this equation: C x 2^(M - 1) / 16
C: LOD level cutoff distance
M: Max LOD levels

Default settings: 256 LOD level cutoff distance, 3 Max LOD levels (64 render distance)
Part 1 settings: 512 LOD level cutoff distance, 3 Max LOD levels (128 render distance)
Part 2 settings: 256 LOD level cutoff distance, 5 Max LOD levels (256 render distance)
Part 3 settings: 256 LOD level cutoff distance, 8 Max LOD levels (2048 render distance)
0:00 - 128 Render Distance
0:30 - 256 Render Distance
1:31 - 2048 Render Distance
