Will we ever exit Buckby Bottom Lock?

Continuing on to Weedon Wharf, Daphne and I cruise from our overnight mooring to Norton Junction on the Grand Union Canal (Main Line) and then go down through the Buckby lock flight, sharing with another boat, which makes passage much easier for all concerned but will we ever get out of the bottom lock?

Built in 1796, the Buckby flight has locks of double width and comprise a flight of seven, top lock, being No.7 and bottom lock No.13. The locks drop the canal by 63’ (19.2m) from the summit.
