BMW i8 hybrid supercar in detail - Geneva 2014

BMW showcased its all new plug-in hybrid i8 production model at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.

The i8 is a 2+2-seater sports car / supercar with both a turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine and an electric motor. The combined output is 266 kW /362 hp and 570 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and hits a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
Average fuel consumption is 2.1 litres/100 km (134.5 mpg) and CO2 emissions 49 g/km.

It's also the world's first production car with innovative laser light technology.
