DRDO Tests Long Range Land Attack Cruise Missile | 1500 km Range

India has successfully conducted another flight test of the indigenously developed Long Range Land Attack Cruise Missile (LRLACM) from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Island off the Odisha coast. The missile reportedly demonstrated its subsonic, low-altitude flight profile designed to evade enemy radars while validating key systems including guidance, navigation, propulsion, and control. With an estimated range of 1,000–1,500 km, the LRLACM is expected to significantly strengthen India's long-range precision strike capability and further boost the country's push towards defence self-reliance under Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
