The energy landscape is rapidly changing. We are entering a new energy economy driven by consumers and distributed technologies. Scott speaks about how solar is playing a leading role in this change, and is unique in its strong personal touch with the consumer that other energy forms lack. Combining this new consumer demand with falling costs leads to innovations that cultivate the bond between people and the energy that powers our lives.

Previously, he has helped spur Austin's first low-income solar program, sent robots to explore the oceans, and introduced renewable energy technology into Shell’s portfolio. He is currently the CEO and Co-founder of 17TeraWatts, a clean-energy software company ushering in the next wave of wide-scale solar adoption. Overall, Scott’s passion for energy has allowed him to invent technology and business models to accelerate our transformation to a cleaner, more efficient, energy economy.
