I Paid Off $64,114 in 2 Years Towards My Student Loan Debt | Student Loan Debt Journey Update 2021

Hi everyone! In this video, I'll talk about my student loan debt journey on paying off $61,114 in 2 years towards my student loan debt from physical therapy school. I started my debt free journey in March 2019 when I began making regular monthly payments towards my debt. In January 2019, I got into contact with a Fitbux financial coach, where we came up with a plan for me to become debt free as soon as possible. In March 2019, I started out with making $3000 monthly payments towards my student loan debt after I refinanced for the first time. I later refinanced again and had to reduce my monthly payment from $3000 to $2300. In March 2020, the pandemic hit and I became unemployed, but was still making regular monthly payments. In October 2020, I was able to work full time again and began making $3000 payments towards my student loans.

As of this posting date, I have approximately $78,000 left of my student loans (I started with approximately $147,000).
