Six Flags Over Georgia With Dennis!

For our first full day in Atlanta together, Dennis and I went to Six Flags Over Georgia (after going to Waffle House of course)! We arrived shortly after the park opened, picked up our tickets, and set off into the park to explore! I believe I last visited Six Flags in middle school, so the ability to re-experience the park was exciting! Dennis and I rode virtually every ride we wanted to with minimal wait times, only encumbered by occasional technical difficulties and weather delays. Our first ride was a moderate coaster called Dahlonega Mine Train, followed by a couple rides on the Monster Mansion boat ride, the vintage car Hanson Ride, the Great American Steam Machine wooden coaster, Justice League: Battle For Metropolis (after a brief trip into Hurricane Harbor), and then Superman: Ultimate Flight and Blue Hawk before watching the Shenaniguns Comedy Wild West Show. We walked over to the Thunder River water raft ride, but decided to focus on the major thrills for the rest of our visit, so we went to Gotham City to ride Batman, and then ended our trip with a ride on Goliath and the Georgia Scorcher before the inclement weather closed the rides for the afternoon. Dennis and I decided to try to beat the rain back to the car, and went to dinner at the Best End Brewing Company, with some ping pong at a bar called Church near Dennis's apartment.
