Wishing bad on others hurts you. Your body gets flooded with cortisol — a real stress response.

I saw a stranger and consciously wished them love, peace, joy, prosperity — everything good.

It hit me how long it had been since I last did this. I’d been stuck in my own problems and rumination.

This is simple loving-kindness practice (metta). It’s backed by psychology: it reduces your stress, improves your mindset, and I believe it actually helps the other person too. We’re more connected than we realize.

Almost like a quiet prayer sent into the world.

The opportunity is always there.
(Except maybe for that sports team 😂)
