Case Ingersoll tractors are very heavy duty commercial garden tractors and mowers and are awesome to push or blow snow, mow fabulous or if you need to pull something very heavy around then this will fit the bill. Put chains and weights on it and it will push or pull anything you need it to. They can have mid/front/rear hydraulics to raise and lower mower decks, snow blowers, plow blade etc. Also available for these units are rear 3 point hitch or sleeve hitches for blades, york rakes, plows, harrows, hydraulic drive tillers, vacs and baggers etc. Add a rear hydro pto to run roto tillers, log splitters, brush hogs, vacs/blowers, mowers etc There are many, many attachments made for these tractors and loaders. Most range from 14 to 23 horsepower. They are powered by commercial industrial engine models. Most are either Onan twin cylinders, Brings and Stratton V twin cylinders, Kohler single Cylinders. A few models had twin cylinder Kohler engines and A few Hondas. American made.
They are all steel framed and body. They are welded, not China stamped steel like the ones you can buy in a "box" store for much more money... They are all hydraulic drive (not hydro-static, not belt) They have a all steel heavy duty "gear" 2 speed rearend powered by a hydro motor for variable speeds. These tractors last forever.
A new Ingersoll most recently cost between $7,000 and $12,000 depends on options and model. There is a large following and many collectors too. They are great work horses, easy to work on and parts are readily available.
The rear tires on them are 32 inches tall very large for a tractor this size and 16 inch rims, so old truck or small farm tractor tires fit. These were really the only true commercial duty garden tractors/mowers for decades. These or walk behinds were what most commercial landscapers, municipality, schools and many, many home owners and small farms used before "zero turns and compact farm tractors" became popular.
Case and Ingersoll also made a a line of heavy duty well respected dedicated loader tractors and backhoes. That are very capable and immpresive for their size and lass, they are second to none.
