Are CPNs illegal? Should you use them?

Listen, I know a guy in a RR with bling on said CPN’s are legit.. but there’s always a little truth in a big lie. CPN’s are in fact the biggest scams in the credit repair industry. 🚩

A Credit Privacy Number has 9 digits just like a Social Security Number. Therefor it can technically be use to apply for credit. However, there’s a catch… ITS ILLEGAL to do so!

CPNs are often marketed as a way to hide bad credit and still get approved for cars, credit cards and loans without actually cleaning your credit. They are often sold on the black market for a pretty penny.

In my experience, if it seems too good to be true.. it is. If you are caught SELLING CPNs or improperly using CPNs, you are committing FRAUD. 🚔

THE ONLY identification numbers you should ever use on a credit application are: SSN, ETIN, EIN #ThatsAllFolks 🙅🏾‍♂️
