Japanese Fireworks in 8K

Mikawa region in Aichi Prefecture was one of the few places where the manufacturing of gunpowder was allowed during the Edo period. The making of firearms in this area gradually evolved into the production of fireworks including the unique Tezutsu hand-held fireworks.

Shot in Toyohashi and Gamagori City, "Japanese Fireworks in 8K" features the Toyohashi Fire Festival in September and the Gamagori Summer Fireworks Festival in July. The video was shot on RED Monstro 8K camera.

愛知県の三河地方は江戸時代に火薬の製造が許された数少ない地域でした。火砲の製造から花火の製造技術が生まれ、手筒花火など特色のある花火文化が花咲きました。

本映像では9月に豊橋市で開催された炎の祭典と、7月に蒲郡市で開催された蒲郡まつり納涼花火大会を取り上げています。
