This episode of Awesome Toranas takes a look at the journey of a Torana that has travelled from Canberra to Mullenbach in Germany.

Follow the journey of Uwe Sommerhoff as he imports a Torana to Europe and runs it at the world famous Nurburgring Nordschleife.

The car has now run at several track days and events and is still under development as Uwe has to take it easy through the twisty bits due to oil pressure problems.

Uwe and his team are currently working to improve the oil flow and to install some baffles to hopefully keep the pickup covered in oil so he can have a go at full noise.

I would also like to congratulate Uwe on an outstanding effort, to get this far is amazing, and to see a Torana dicing with Porsches on their home track is a sight to see.

Mark van der Est - an old surfing buddy, who helped store and collect the car in Rotterdam, and made the first video in 2009.

Callum Kaka - from Melbourne is Uwe's best friend since 1990 and was Manager of the Toorak RSL Club where he lived as well. This place was always Uwe's base to collect spare parts before shipping over to Germany
