FAQ:

Q: How long did the e-Form 1 take?
A: I filed in April 2020 and got it back in May 2020, about 5-6 weeks.

Q: Where can I buy the parts?
A: Not today, ATF man! I bought mine from a website (not lafoauto.com) that is no longer selling them. Just Google fuel filters and you'll get results.

Q: I've seen monocore filters also; can I use those?
A: It's up to you. I'd definitely recommend having an approved Form 1 on hand before buying anything that you plan to convert into a suppressor.

Q: Did you use subsonic ammo?
A: No.

Q: Can you redo it with subsonic ammo?
A: One day. It's hard to find any ammo these days.

Q: Was that a binary trigger on the M&P15-22?
A: Maybe. But yes. No, I can't tell you which brand, since they don't currently sell them.

Q: Is your decibel meter broken?
A: I recognize now that the decibel meter that I used was not great for the purposes of this video. It seems to top out at 130db, so didn't give accurate readings. So just disregard the whole sound measuring part. 😆

Q: Is the $200 good for multiple suppressors?
A: No. The ATF requires a $200 tax stamp for each suppressor made.
