Step Drills and Grommets
Step Drills are indispensable for creating mounting holes for toggle switches, circuit breakers, headphone jacks and ignition switches in our aircraft panel. They are also used for making passages for routing wire cables and fuel lines through bulkheads and other structures. These holes need their sharp edges covered with grommets and bushings to protect against dangerous abrasion. We look at the options available for our experimental aircraft project.
