Dana Cup & SELECT unite with the PLANET football

Dana Cup will be the first tournament in the world to play with the SELECT PLANET football this summer.

Dana Cup took a pledge to support the Global Goals in 2017, along with other representatives from Nordic football tournaments and organisations.

Dana Cup met with the Norwegian Prime Minister in Oslo to pledge their support for the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Receiving the undivided attention and passion of millions is the unique privilege of sport. And the founding organisations made a pledge in recognition of the immense potential and responsibility of football and sports organisations to drive the sustainable development agenda, and introduce it to thousands of young players, their parents and their local community.

The SDG pledge was the first step in building a network of committed sports actors, sharing best practice and developing tools that will engage and inspire action on the SDG’s through sport.
