Airline STOCKS with biggest POTENTIAL to DOUBLE

Given the unprecedented destruction of demand in the airlines industry during the coronavirus pandemic, the very poor performance of the airlines stocks is not surprising.

As the industry grapples with adjusting to a new environment, rebuilds trust and confidence and scrambles to adjust payroll and reduce the huge daily cash burn, I argue that there is a lot of potential value that investors should focus on.

In this video, I go into detail in the following areas:
- Airlines stock performance year-to-date
- Current daily passenger numbers passing through TSA versus what we saw 12 months ago
- Comparison to how long the industry took to recover post 9/11 and post Global Financial Crisis
- Structural issues of cutting down daily cash burn and a credible path to break-even in cash burn
- Biggest risks of cutting too much capacity
- Detailed liquidity analysis for the 11 main airlines in the US airlines universe

Finally, I argue that insolvency is not a risk for US airlines anymore given the significant capital raises in debt and equity markets in Q2 as well as the funds from the CARES Act. Given the likely path towards more efficiency and payroll reduction, I believe investors should focus on Delta, Southwest, Alaska, Allegiant, SkyWest. For a more aggressive recovery, in particular should a vaccine become widely available sooner than expected, investors should look towards United and Spirit.
