Waldorf Astoria Dubai Financial Center ( Suite ) Review

We received a fantastic suite upgrade on our recent stay at the Waldorf Astoria Dubai Financial Center, a wonderful new hotel minutes from the Dubai mall.

How?

We picked up a Hilton Aspire credit card from Amex earlier in the year which comes with top tier diamond status as a benefit.

Diamond status means guaranteed breakfast at most Hilton properties and executive lounge access along with many other benefits.

When we got the card it came with 150k Hilton point welcome offer after spending $4k, and then annual benefits of: a free weekend night certificate, $250 airline fee credit, $250 Hilton resort credit, the list goes on. It's a hefty $450 annual fee, but we've gotten at least $1k in benefits in the last 6 months alone.

Ultimately, the card has prompted us to move more of our stays to Hilton because of the treatment, especially outside the USA, of diamond status is fantastic.
