Getting Started With the MPLAB® ICD 5
This video looks at the MPLAB ICD 5 In-circuit Debugger, Microchip's latest fast and feature-rich emulation and programming tool. No longer utilizing an external supply connection, this is the first Microchip debugging tool to allow power over ethernet. Power can alternatively be obtained through a USB-C connection, and both interfaces provide high-speed programming and debugging of all Microchip devices. As well as the usual execution and data monitoring features, the debugger also implements ITM trace for some SAM devices.
