Cotopaxi Volcano Climb - December 2018

At 19,347’ Cotopaxi is one of the world’s highest volcanoes, one of South America’s most active volcanoes, and Ecuador's 2nd highest peak. The last major eruption was in 2015. Climbing of the volcano was just permitted again beginning 1 year ago.

This video includes our most complete Cotopaxi climbing experience. With the climb being at night and our hands occupied for most of the climb it was difficult to get footage of the ascent, but there are some amazing summit and descent views.
