EPIC SpaceCraft & Rocket Concepts | Go To Space

Compilation of Spacecraft and Rocket concepts under development by SpaceX, NASA, Blue Origin, Lockheed Martin, ESA & ULA. Spacecrafts & Rockets featured in this video - in order: ITS / BFR, SLS, New Glenn, Mars Ascent Descent Vehicle, Falcon Heavy, Ariane 6, Vulcan.

*The BFR (Big Falcon Rocket) is the next rocket to be developed by SpaceX after the Falcon Heavy. BFR will be a fully reusable rocket, capable of refueling in space and it could be used to resupply the ISS, land on the Moon or send people to Mars by 2022. The BFR spacecraft could also be used to travel around Earth carrying people at a max speed of 18,000 mph, so it would fly anywhere on Earth in under an hour. .

*The Space Launch System or SLS, is a flexible and evolvable advanced launch vehicle Space Shuttle-derived. It is part of NASA's deep space exploration plans, and will launch astronauts on missions to an asteroid and eventually to Mars.

*Blue Origin's New Glenn orbital launch vehicle has two variants - New Glenn 2-stage and New Glenn 3-stage. The New Glenn's first stage (booster stage) is designed to be reusable, and it's comparable to the Falcon Heavy rockets. The first stage will be powered by seven BE-4 engines designed and manufactured by Blue Origin.

*The Mars Ascent Descent Vehicle (MADV) or Mars Lander is a reusable, single-stage lander capable of descending to the surface from Mars orbit using supersonic retropropulsion. Human missions to the surface of Mars could last up to 2 weeks with a crew of up to 4 astronauts.

*The Falcon Heavy rocket is a reusable super heavy lift space launch vehicle designed and manufactured by SpaceX. The Falcon Heavy is a variant of the Falcon 9 launch vehicle and will consist of a strengthened Falcon 9 rocket core, with two additional Falcon 9 first stages as strap-on boosters. Falcon Heavy was designed from the outset to carry humans into space, and would enable crewed missions to the Moon or Mars.

*Ariane 6 Rocket - the fully European Ariane 6 rocket comes in two versions (2 and 4 boosters) and it will secure Europes independent access to space. The completion of the rocket is scheduled for 2020.

*The Vulcan rocket is a heavy-payload launch vehicle (Partly-reusable) under development since 2014 by United Launch Alliance (ULA). Vulcan will initially use the same Centaur upper stage as on Atlas V, later to be upgraded to ACES. The first stage tanks will be derived from those of the Delta IV, using BE-4 engines.
