How Reducing Driving is Rewarded | Nanqing Jiang | TEDxCTeam

Jiang Nanqing sorted out the impact of the surge of motor vehicles on the environment and how reducing driving can help. Blockchain technology is introduced to encourage car owners to reduce driving. Environmentally conscious car owners get positive incentives for reducing carbon emissions. Dr. Jiang Nanqing served as a senior project officer in the UN Environment China Office from 2008 to 2018. From 2018 to 2020, she served as the Secretary-General of the Plastic Recycling Branch of China Synthetic Resin Association, leading the sustainable development of the plastic recycling industry. Since 2020, She serves as the Chairwoman of Beijing Green Inclusive Network Technology Co., Ltd. to construct a green travel platform. In September 2020, the All-China Environmental Protection Federation's Green Cycle Inclusive Committee was established and she serves as the Secretary-General.
