David Nilsson is no stranger to a scam, having been accused of trying to sell non-existent plots of land in North Queensland to unsuspecting victims from Nauru. So when he went to Peru in 2012, attempting to persuade local Indigenous people to sell him their carbon rights to the rainforest and promising them billions of dollars in profits, 60 Minutes had some questions for him.
