#87: Schmitt Trigger Oscillator / Tutorial / 74AC14 Inverter / squarewave generator
The properties of a Schmitt Trigger circuit are explained. The applications for a Schmitt Trigger input logic circuit are discussed, and the operation of a 74xx14 type schmitt trigger inverter are demonstrated. The circuit was built specifically to make a simple square wave generator with fast rising and falling edges, which is used in the next video as the source for a simple, inexpensive time-domain reflectometer.
