Feltman's & Coney Island: A History with Mike Quinn
St. Francis College alumnus and Coney Island historian Mike Quinn '98 researched and resurrected the original Feltman's Coney Island Hot Dog, which has been named the one of the 12 best things to eat in the summer of 2017 by Zagat's, the #7 best hot dog in the country by the Daily Meal, and "Most likely the best hot dog you'll ever eat in your life," by Gothamist.
Quinn came to St. Francis College April 17, 2018 to discuss Feltman's and the broader history of Coney Island as part of the Senior Citizen lecture series "From New Nation to World Power: Culture, Politics, and Society in the United States, 1789-1896."
The series is coordinated by St. Francis College History Professor Sara Rzeszutek and sponsored by the Department of History, the Senior Citizen Lecture Series, and the Center for Women's and Gender Studies.
