John Cena as WWE Champion in 2005 was a certified star. Cena's title reign was a way of WWE making another megastar. He was all over the place. Sure he wasn't on the level of Austin and Rock, but he was WWE's first top guy since those two(excluding Brock). John Cena's WWE Title Reign remains one of the most memorable ones of the past 15 years. He faced the likes of JBL, Chris Jericho and Kurt Angle. John Cena was a bonafide star after losing the WWE Championship. By then, He was definitely a star. In this video, I cover John Cena's run as the Champ in 2005.
