The streaming landscape is going to be drastically different in 2020. Everything you know of will still be around, but might become irrelevant. Today we're going over these services, what you should/shouldn't be excited for, and how much they'll cost.

Starting with what we're least excited about, and ending with the most anticipated:

1. NBC Universal's unnamed service

What:
- Will have The Office (leaves Netflix Dec. 2019
- USA, Bravo, E!, Syfy, MSNBC and CNBC, among others

- Don't know exact price yet. I'm guessing $5-$10/month.
2. Disney+

What:
- Disney classics, Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel, 30 seasons of The Simpsons, etc.
- 75 years worth of Disney content and spending- $$$

When:
November 12, 2019

Cost:
- $7/mo, $70/yr, or $13/mo for bundle including Hulu and ESPN+
- Starting cheap, but will likely raise prices
3. HBO Max

What:
- ALL past and future HBO content.
- Most Warner Bros movies and shows

4. Apple TV+

What:
- $6B in original content
- High caliber actors- quality over quantity

When:
October 2019 (to get ahead of Disney+)

Cost:
- No official cost yet, but reported around $10/month
Of course, you can't forget other legacy streaming services:

Netflix
- Losing Friends to HBO Max
- Losing The Office to NBC Universal
- Picked off a lot of showrunners from the networks

Hulu
- Biggest draw is the Disney+ bundle

Prime Video
- Will keep chugging along thanks to Amazon Prime (free shipping FTW)
I'll probably stick with Disney+/Hulu, Netflix, and Prime ($36) and wait to hear how Apple TV+ and HBO Max do before I decide if it’s worth it to add them to my monthly cost. What will you get?
