HALF LIFE 2 la pesadilla se repite Windows XP 7 10 Lenovo V145 Pentium 3 Tualatin Half Life by Valve

Hace 20 años, tal día como hoy 12 de febrero, compré Half Life 2, era sábado y corrí ilusionado a instalarlo en Windows XP, al cabo de un par de semanas lo había terminado con una sonrisa de oreja a oreja.
Años después quise volverlo a probar pero ya no funcionaba con XP. Recuerdo que tuve problemas y me costó bastante recuperar los datos de mi antigua cuenta de Steam, apunto estuve de perderla.
El año pasado volví a probar con Windows 7, jugué unas horas y lo dejé estar.
Hoy quería hacer un vídeo justo en la fecha en que se cumple todo este tiempo pero la historia se repite, ahora hay que tener Windows 10 para que funcione ¡toma yá!
Menos mal que sólo tengo 2 juegos en Steam... que sino es pa matarme.
Half Life 2 supuso un antes y un después para mi, pase de comprar juegos nuevos sospechosos de tenerse que instalar on-line a interesarme sólo por los usados, sí, esos que puedes instalarlos en cualquier PC clásico tantas veces como quieras, en tantos ordenadores como tengas sin necesidad de internet y que son tuyos para siempre sin tener que depender de nadie más.
En el vídeo primero pruebo en Win7, después en un portátil Lenovo de ofimática con Win10, como es lógico no puede moverlo.
Por último, recurro para tener algo de contenido en el vídeo al que nunca me ha fallado en estos 20 años; Half Life 1

20 years ago, on this day, February 12, I bought Half Life 2. It was a Saturday and I ran excitedly to install it on Windows XP. After a couple of weeks I had finished it with a smile from ear to ear.
Years later I wanted to try it again but it didn't work with XP. I remember that I had problems and it took me a long time to recover the data from my old Steam account, I was almost losing it.
Last year I tried it again with Windows 7, I played for a few hours and then I left it.
Today I wanted to make a video right on the date when all this time is up but history repeats itself, now you have to have Windows 10 for it to work. Oh well!
Thank goodness I only have 2 games on Steam... otherwise I'd kill myself.
Half Life 2 was a turning point for me. I went from buying new games that were suspicious of having to be installed online to only being interested in used ones, yes, those that you can install on any classic PC as many times as you want, on as many computers as you have without the need for internet and that are yours forever without having to depend on anyone else.
In the video I first test it on Win7, then on a Lenovo office laptop with Win10, as is logical it can't run it.
Finally, I turn to the video for some content that has never failed me in these 20 years; Half Life 1
