Police Used RULERS to Catch Cr*min4ls?

Before modern forensics, police relied on a bizarre system called the Bertillon System—measuring body parts like head size, arm length, and even ears to identify criminals.
Created by Alphonse Bertillon in 1879, it was once considered revolutionary. But there was one big problem… people can have very similar measurements.
Everything changed when fingerprinting came in. Thanks to Sir Edward Henry, criminal identification became far more accurate—and it’s still used today.
Turns out… measuring bodies works for clothes. Not for justice.
