Legendary bassist Peter Hook discusses how Yamaha bass guitars have played a central role in his musical journey, from the early days of Joy Division to the present, culminating in the new Peter Hook Signature BB bass. Hook’s pioneering style was a defining aspect in the sound of both Joy Division and New Order—two of the most iconic bands—and countless bassists have been influenced by his innovative approach.

The limited edition Peter Hook Signature BB is based on the BB734A bass he plays on tour with Peter Hook & The Light, incorporating influences from his favorite BB1200S bass, which he calls “the perfect guitar.”
