Ridin' the Rails by the Lakeline Railway (08/17)

On a Cloudy Thursday morning, I headed out for the Interlake to check out the Lakeline Railway just before summer ends, I decided to start in Gimli til' I saw the Headlights down the line, after that, the chase was on.

Lakeline Railroad was formed in 2012 by local farmers after CP Rail threaten to Abandon their historic Winnipeg Beach Subdivision, Lakeline Bought the line and another line out eas, formerly known as the Lac du Bonnet Subdivision, originally, Lakeline Railroad used an EMD SW switcher (GMTX 98) until the MDXX 911 MLW RS18 came in 2016, it might be on a long term lease? idk lmao, but the RS18 has been working hard and proving its worth, in late 2021, it would be repainted into blue that is still seen today

MDXX 911 is an MLW built RS18 Locomotive made in the 60's, originally put on the Wabush Lake Railway in NewfoundLand & Labrador until being on the Arnaud Railway, I don't know what happened with the Wabush Lake or Arnaud Railway, I'm assuming they became fallen flags but anyways, All the Wabush Lake & Arnaud Railway RS18's were put on a Leasing company MDXX, no idea what it stands for, some of the RS18's were lucky and found a new home on other railroads such as 906, 908, 909, and 911, others may have not been lucky and were scrapped or maybe in preservation, i have no idea lmao, but that's the background of MDXX 911 or known as LLRX 911
