Extremely rare DEFI brand pocket watch made by GEORGES FAVRE JACOT (ZENITH). Has a German patent number D.R.P.106223 and Swiss patent no. Brevet +16962/278. Unknown 19 ligne movement made by Georges Favre Jacot (Defi used in-house movements). I found one example of partially identifical movement from internet, that movement was in Georges Favre Jacot branded watch. Georges Favre Jacot had originally four brands, Georges Favre Jacot, Billodes, Diogene and DEFI. Zenith was registered later.

This watch had a bent balance staff, it is straightened. The movement has very special design as the barrel is open. Barrel arbor is fixed to the barrel.

First owner of the watch was Evert Nyström, from Karperö willage Mustasaari, Finland.
