After some beautiful days in Hpa-An we decided to try to hitchhike 280 kilometres to Yangon, the former capital of Myanmar. With a hitchhiking letter in Burmese and a sign saying where we were headed we stuck our thumbs out. It didn't take long before we got our first ride, but trying to get our second ride wasn't as smooth and we found ourselves lost in translation, not one, but several times. Fortnunately our luck turned and you'll find out how half way through this video.
