Restoration of a 1940S NIP hand crank bench grinder couldn't find much info on the grinder. NIP stands for national industries product PTY LTD. Made in Australia around the 1940s. That nail i found in side the grinder wasn't meant to be there and if it had dropped in to the gears it probably would have caused a lot of damage. When I was testing it at the start. This Restoration i tried to make it mostly original somethings I didn't paint and I added a few washers to take up slack or save the nut from wrecking the paint. The stickers i use come from STICKEROO.COM based in Australia they are great quality and if you can give them a picture of the original or make your own design they can reproduce it what ive got so far has been spot on.
