Lodi - Creedence Clearwater Revival (tribute cover)

This was recorded live in our first concert back after the Covid-19 lock down on May 23rd, 2020. The band hadn't performed together or rehearsed since our last concert in early February. Note how the tables are all spread apart and there's no dance floor. Nearly four months after this concert was performed, live music is just now getting started again, but dancing is still not allowed. Surreal.

For a variety of reasons, I chose to retire from live music two weeks after this performance, so this video marked what was most likely my final live performance.

I originally formed Mrs. Jones' Revenge in December, 2010 at the age of 50 to perform some of my YouTube vocal tributes live, and it was every bit as fun as I thought it was going to be. But I never intended to keep the band going past 2015. A variety of fateful moments intervened in the ensuing years and I decided to keep it going, partly for myself, but mainly for the sake of my other band mates. Finally, after turning 60 this year and re-examining my priorities, dealing with all the drama of 2020 both outside and within the band, weighing health issues vs. continuing to perform, etc., I decided it was time to let it go. I had hoped the rest of the band would carry on and find a new lead singer, but that didn't happen and the band permanently faded into history on June 8th, 2020.
