Hitachi Magic Wand Teardown - Original Design

In an attempt to make an older copy of the Hitachi Magic Wand quieter by replacing its bearings, I find that this one has a completely different and clearly superior head design. Throughout, I make comparisons of this design (the original) to the cheaper re-design with the plastic head. I also learned what the compliant spring shaft needs to look like when it's not broken. So, I am one step closer to fixing the broken copy which is still hanging out in my closet.
