The Love of Sewing Runs in my Family | featuring "My Love Letter Time Machine" Podcast
Hi everyone, thanks for listening and watching today. In this video I really wanted to feature my sister Ingrid's podcast that she has worked so hard on. Called "My love letter time machine", it's based on the collection of letters that have been handed down from mother to daughter for five generations. Meet Fred and Janie a young couple courting in the late 1870s, they are my great-great grandparents. When I started listening to the podcast I was delighted by the number of references to sewing and making things and felt that there really was a connection in interests between Janie and me. Sewing and the love of sewing really does run in my family! There's lots about Fred too, I think he sounds like rather a nice young man, but remember he is the product of the social expectations and norms of the time.
Please show Ingrid's podcast lots of love, even if it wasn't my family I would still find it utterly fascinating and I hope you will too. 💚
